Atlas West Beating Expectations

‘We’re active, we’re growing, we’re successful, and you’re invited to learn more.’

Friends, family, and investors: I am writing to you today to quickly bring you up to speed on all the great work and growth we have experienced at Atlas West Group.

We launched the platform in 2020 after successfully operating a real estate investment business for 15 years. We had a vision to innovate housing in San Diego and help solve the region’s housing crisis. We’ve done this through a programmatic process, one that takes advantage of innovative zoning policies, controls and manages expenses, and generates returns for our investors.

We started with one lot and a simple goal: to build affordable homes for the people who make up the fabric of San Diego — nurses, teachers, military personnel, first-responders, tradesmen, and others. We build, rent and manage all of our multi-family communities. Our approach and the housing we develop, combined with a lack of supply in San Diego, all add up to tremendous fundamentals for growth.

Our work is backed by a $90 million+ portfolio, a 125,000+ square foot development pipeline, and experience in managing more than $400 million in real estate. Our development formula is simple and proven: we look for an aging property on an underutilized lot, and we transform that property into a vibrant multi-family community.

Our formula has worked, our growth has beat expectations, and we’re not slowing down.

Here are the facts:

  • Atlas West is one of the first multi-family developers to build deed-restricted units without public subsidy in Southern California, and the first to take advantage of the City of San Diego’s ADU Bonus Program, approved in 2020.

  • Atlas West has become the largest and most influential developer in the urban infill space in San Diego.

  • Our work is routinely held up as a model, paving the way for other developers to create homes San Diegans can afford.
